Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is dominating the headlines again after she was fouled and then knocked to the floor well after the play was whistled dead by Marina Mabrey of the Connecticut Sun. Dan is getting a little tired of having his social media feed flooded by minor incidents involving Caitlin Clark when there are so many other interesting stories out there, including the status of Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton’s injured calf ahead of tomorrow night’s NBA Finals Game 6.
Dan Patrick: “Caitlin Clark is going to get more coverage than Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers and needing to win this game. And it’s not her; it’s just they know that that will get clicks. And…nobody’s going to talk about how many points she scored last night. They won’t. They’ll show you a couple of incidents there where there was some pushing and shoving, and some hard fouls there. It’s just like when Caitlin Clark had that unbelievable performance against the Liberty; I don’t think anybody mentioned that Sabrina Ionescu had 34 points in that game because nobody cares.”
